MONTHLY PRO-LIFE TALK SHOW - Rachel Mackenzie - Witness to Hope
Rachel Mackenzie from Rachel's Vineyard joins us to share how through her own experience of abortion she has helped others find healing and the key role her faith has played in this ministry.
Currently in the UK there are around a quarter of a million abortions every year – what’s our response to this? March for Life UK faces this issue with truth and compassion to help bring to an end the tragedy of abortion.
Our public witness events, training days, YouTube channel, social media presence and talks both in the UK and abroad all help to create awareness of the hurt and damage abortion causes as well as promote respect for the dignity of every human life from the moment of conception.
We work to bring together the pro-life movement, educating and inspiring them to be pro-life not just in name but in their actions so that together we can flip the nation back to life!

THE BARDCAST - Sarah de Nordwall - 32. Sacro or Sanctity, Part 2
In this 2nd part of the Sarco or Sanctity episode of our mini-series on Assisted dying, we ask whether drama can save lives. Sarah de Nordwall looks both at a profound monologue from the Priest in the play “Pure Dead Dangerous” and also a quote from Paul Tennant’s play - “A Matter of Conscience” set in 1941. This is a section of the real life sermon that inspired the White Rose Movement of Sophie Scholl.
Robert Cassidy also reads real stories from Dr John Wilkie’s book “Assisted Suicide past and present” that teaches us how quickly safe guards fall and fail when Assisted Dying has been legal for a while.
An episode full of striking facts and helpful considerations then reflects on the short but powerful life of Saint Jacinta who embraced her suffering and death at age 9 in order to save souls.
We take her as our patron for this urgent cause of keeping government-sanctioned assisted suicide out of our culture and mindset.
For those creatives wishing to help build a culture fit for life, do come to our next Activation Day either in June or October.

THE BARDCAST - Sarah de Nordwall - 31. Sarco or Sanctity
These final 2 episodes of the Bardcast miniseries on Assisted dying stand together to share inspiring and touching monologues from Stephen Callaghan’s beautiful play Pure dead Dangerous. (Julie’s mum in this episode and The Priest in the 2nd episode.)
We look at the dark comedy of the astonishing rhetoric around the Sarco (the suicide pod) that refers to it as ‘reliable and safe.’
We ask whose values and choices are really respected when autonomy becomes the highest value in society and consider what values and ideas really help us.
We encourage everyone to send episodes of this mini-series to friends and MPs or MSPs who need to imagine the possible unforeseen consequences of the Assisted Dying bill becoming law before it’s too late.

A Blossoming Mission in Luzon
Radio Maria Philippines was the first of its kind in Asia. It began in 2002, not far from Manila. Over the years, it has expanded steadily across the northern region of Luzon. Currently, on four FM frequencies covering multiple dioceses.
Additionally, its digital channels broadcast from the main headquarters in Tarlac. Filipino listeners have always been loyal. They support the station despite poverty and economic hardship. Their faithfulness speaks volumes about Radio Maria’s impact.
Truly, the station has become both a spiritual and social voice in their daily lives. It nourishes souls and strengthens communities. Now, more bishops want Radio Maria in their cities. They long to hear it in Tagalog and other local dialects.
The Philippines is made of over 7,000 islands. Many still wait to receive the voice of Radio Maria.
Naturally, this demand brings financial challenges. New towers, and equipment are costly. Transport and setup are major undertakings. The main studio in Tarlac needs attention. Its production equipment is outdated. The building itself requires urgent renovation. For 23 years, Radio Maria Philippines has remained self-sufficient. However, today it cannot face these new challenges alone.
Firstly, funds are needed to restore the headquarters and upgrade its technology. This is the top priority. Then, the mission will focus on expansion. Bishops are offering premises and sometimes even frequencies to help. However, to succeed, Radio Maria needs international support. It needs friends who believe in this mission.
The Philippines is the world’s third-largest Catholic country. Expanding Radio Maria here is a chance to plant lasting seeds. With your help, more Filipinos can hear the Good News. Your support can turn dreams into stations of hope.
Let your giving blossom this May. Support Flores de Maria. Let Radio Maria grow, bloom, and bear fruit in the Philippines.

MARIATHON - Philippines - Fr Toby & Fr Albert Garong SSP of @fatherbrews
Fr Albert Garong SSP who uses to coffee to evangelise in the Philippines and has the popular Instagram channel @fatherbrews.
What is the Mariathon?
Every May, Radio Maria stations all over the world fundraise for each other, gathering financial support for another Radio Maria somewhere in the world. We call this the Mariathon. This year (2025) Radio Maria England gives thanks for the riches of the Catholic faith in the Philippines which spills out into our parishes here in the UK with the presence of strong Filipino communities that serve so generously. Supporting Radio Maria in the Philippines is a way for us to give back and support the faith in the Philippines, a vast country with a thriving faith but where many do not have regular access to the sacraments and a Catholic radio can do a lot of wonderful work. Visit our website and make a contribution to keep Radio Maria in the Philippines on air. The campaign ends on Friday the 6th of June. Visit www.RadioMariaEngland.uk to find out more.

Lauren Heithaus, founder of Hidden Catholic, giving tours of Catholic England, is joined with Delphine, who was one of the MCs for the Woman in the Church Summit, to explore the quiet, transformative call of spiritual motherhood as they reflect their experiences at the summit - the often unseen ways women nuture faith, create space for growth, and form the Church from within. Lauren also talks with Marilis, founder of Cor Filiae, meaning Heart of the Daughter, and how it flows directly from the heart of spiritual motherhood - a desire to form women deeply and help them rediscover their identity as daughters of God. THE WORD IN 4D - Sr Carino & Sr Cooey - Sixth Sunday of Easter
Sr Carino and Sr Cooey look at the Gospel for the Sixth Sunday of Easter, where Jesus promises the Holy Spirit.
Catechism references: 243, 1099, 2466, 2623
Each Wednesday morning the Dominican Sisters of St Joseph go deeper into the Gospel reading for the upcoming Sunday by exploring how it is used in the Catechism of the Catholic Church, finding connections in all four sections of the Catechism: the Profession of Faith, the Liturgy and Sacraments, our Life in Christ, and Prayer. Connecting the Gospel to these four dimensions of the Christian life with the help of the Catechism will break open the deepest meaning of the Scriptures for catechists of all age groups, Children's Liturgy leaders, teachers and parents.
